I think my dad has got bitten by the bird bug :D
He said he's going to clean out his massive shed and convert half of it into an aviary :D
There is enough light in there and it will be nice and warm. I'm so happy :D :D :D
Cheers, Mike

My dad and 2 younger brothers have got the bug too as they brought 2 Pair of Cordons and 2 pair of Cut Throats last week and then the cheeky buggers put them in my brand new aviaries while I was away for the week.My mum and sister are harder to please and says why you buying that I thought you already have them as they look all the same to them.
Good Luck.

Finches247, this is where you start agitating for another avairy so "our" birds can have more space. Glad to hear you young fellas have inspired your dads to get involved.

My Dad, 2 younger brothers and I cleaned out the shed 2 day. Now my brothers want to start breeding Canaries, so more aviaries :D Were going to build two aviaries in the shed 1 is going to be housing painted fire-tails and maybe a pair of ruddies, the other one in the shed opposite the 1st one will house canaries and the one I've got now I'm thinking maybe Cubans, maybe.

(Sorry if pics are so big resizeing is stuffing up)
My Dad ripped off the shed doors so we can view the aviaries from outside: Image
The aviary will start from the white wooden post (which we'll take out after) and end at the brown wooden post you can see on the left hand side, the aviary opposite it will be the same.
