Next to the zebra? Red browed finch, Aegintha temporalis, beautiful finch to keep as well.

That's just the light. They're grey normally. Have you seen a Cordon Bleu waxbill?

So Jay what are your feelings on "Neochmia temporalis" as opposed to the older Aegintha (wasn't she a singer in ABBA?).

Greg, Neochmia is just plain wrong, as was Aegintha, they are and always will be Emblema (Latham, 1801) :lol: . You can't confuse me with facts, my minds made up :wtf: .
