I too had the same experience, the Gouldians wouldn't touch the mealies until I got a pair of Red Faced Parrots who hoover them up like cupcakes at a birthday party. Now the Gouldians sit back and wait for everyone else to take their grub then drop in when its quietened down for a snack.
