I know they arn't finches but i have been after some for a while and manage to get a pair at the right price, here is a pic of the male which is 8mths old and was han raised from 2 weeks old

They take about 4 to 5 years before they look like breeding, but the gangers and the red black are my choice in the cockies. I will put up a pic of the hen tomorrow

yeh i new they took 4-5 years to mature.there nice. out of the cockies i like the blacks(includen the glossy) gang gangs the majors, me uncle breeds the major has had 1pr for the last 23yrs now and out of that they have bred bout 20yrs out of those and most of the time double clutchen

Nice, the majors are also very nice. Mick i hope i don't have to wait that long, i would like to see them go down before i move on to that place in the sky
