These things work for exactly how long it takes the pests to realize it does not move. But good in the short term.

Hi Freddy, I've got an owl on my aviary and as said they work until the wildlife get used to them.

Cheers Greg.

Im thinking of putting solar powered robotic wings and something that makes the head turn !!
The Doves are allready sitting on its head and the local cat is licking its lips at the whole lot of them !!

We use rubber snakes on the patio and pool areas to keep the ducks out...and do the same thing we move them into different places every couple of days..

Have used the rubber snakes on the outside ceiling fan. Kept the Indian Mynah birds away for about 1 week.

Had the old cd's hanging from the fan. Also lasted about a week.

Had the owl on the BBQ. Kept everything away for about 1 month.

I think once they realise that it doesn't move and isn't attacking them, they get comfortable again and ignore them.

I am looking at building the Indian Mynah trap. They sleep in the tree on the boundary fence and I now go out after dark and chase them all away. They are still coming back.

I think the Indian Mynah trap may be the only solution.
