I was delivering papers yesterday, & a flock of mynas flew up in front of me & landed on a roof. One was pure white with the Myna marking on the face & a myna call, It definitely was a Myna. Pity I didn't have a camera with me. Has anyone seen a white Myna ????

I saw a pied Indian Myna in Bundoora, Victoria about 8 years ago. The white area was limited to one side of the body below the wing. Otherwise it's colouring was normal.

Cheers

Danny and Tintola,
About $100 to fly Bris to Mel, $100 hire car, $100 return Mel to Bris, plus loss of a day's pay so in excess of $500 assuming you can trap the bugger in a few hours. So how about if a local Geelongite catches it they get $500 including frieght to Brisbane? Good deal or what?

I live in Geelong so if Loz wants me to help catch it,it may be a bit limp and smelly by the time Danny gets it,a few years ago i tried to catch a light cinniman one, they are so cunning but a bit of lead fixed it. Craig :wtf:
