It continualy amazes me when talking to people who buy new finches that they just rush home and put their new arrivals straight in with their other finches....I think pet shops and dealers must do a lot of extra trade by selling more and more birds that succumb, usually by stress or contaminating an overwise healthy environment...maybe when buying finches people should be given an instruction manual on how to look after their new charges?
