I don't know if am doing this right but anyway - We have lots of different birds - Gouldians (breeding like rabbits), painteds, pumpkins, goldfinches, 1 old greenfinch, ruddies (my fave), red parrot finches, cordons, orange breasted, jacarini's and our newest member of the family a pair of st helena's.

One of us attends the finch club meetings - the one who builds the avairies and all the bits and peices in them.

Welcome to the forum. Have never heard stars called pumpkins before, but we live and learn. Sounds like you have large avairys?

Our original avairy is 3.85 metres long and 2 1/2m deep and the newer one is 3m long and 1 1/2m wide. We are planning to extend both this year. I say we I mean he.
