Hi just wondering if anyone here breeds java finches?
Im looking at starting out and wondering if cabinets or an aviary would suit more?

Mine have done very well in a mixed avairy. Just make sure to give them a nice big nest. 20/30cm square As when the idiots picked a smaller nest, the young died due to overcrowding/overheating. It gets kind of warm here on the west coast. Also make sure to put the greens/food in several locations to prevent aggression issues. They are not really aggressive, but a "I am the boss" peck from such a big bird can be a problem for smaller birds. (But not the Cuban, he is king)
