I saw a doco years ago that had footage of these finches eating seal afterbirth. :sick: Not pretty.

I found out about these finches when researching articles for the newsletters and I did try to get permission from the ABC to include the article in the newsletter but they wanted payment :whoa: so that ended that!

Saw these things years ago on docos about the Galapagos Islands. Just shows how nature is a weird and wonderful thing.

Studying about Darwin's finches now in science and how they all differ in beak size and how they survive on the different islands etc. It's a really interesting topic, but of course I'm gonna say that, haha. :lol:
