I saw a doco years ago that had footage of these finches eating seal afterbirth.
Not pretty.

I found out about these finches when researching articles for the newsletters and I did try to get permission from the ABC to include the article in the newsletter but they wanted payment
so that ended that!

Saw these things years ago on docos about the Galapagos Islands. Just shows how nature is a weird and wonderful thing.

Studying about Darwin's finches now in science and how they all differ in beak size and how they survive on the different islands etc. It's a really interesting topic, but of course I'm gonna say that, haha.
