Yup.....its far from even nudging some of the extremes that have ebbed and waned over geological time..........the Riversleigh fossil deposits in western Qld is just one insight into how our climate has changed from 40 million years ago.............thousands of "new" (old) species galavanting about in a lush tropical rainforest.......then either a meteor hit or a flotilla of martians used us for target practice with their ray guns.....but they built some cool pyramids

......then everything bounced back.....as it always has.....with help from the Giant Spagetti Monster who created the earth, the trees, the mountains and the midgets.....all with his noodly appendage.......

The driest 3 years in a row occurred in NSW in the mid 2000's.....then it rained

....we've just had our most number of wet winters in a row.....but thats only since the late 1800's since reords have been kept

.........all the same, our climate varies......and depending on one's depth of understanding.....and politics......so, do our opinions as to the reasons for that variation........I prefer the evidence in the rocks than the BS on telly.....
