So who got some amazing Finches on Sunday ? Were there many interesting birds ? Loved to see any photos if anybody took some

Hum.
Didn't take any photos unfortunately.
We bought two beautiful pairs of yellow painteds and a pair of gouldians to split up to other gouldians next season.
We also bagged two pairs of red brows for Pete, one pair being from the Eastern states. I hope he is happy with his purchases considering he didn't get to see them
We also sold a number of our birds, and were fairly happy with the amounts they sold for!!
Good catching up with the regular crew too - poitta, mackstaa, bushranger, loz_82, silverfox.
We had our babies with us also, so were a little preoccupied with them!

As for me if it wasnt for the girls I would have nothing, as I got there as the last lot was sold, I am very happy with what I got Venetta and Kylie did well ...pete

managed to score a nice pair of Bluecaps, the only ones on the day.
Didnt really see any bargains, plus Vanetta kept bidding for the birds i wanted!
Maybe ill wait for babies of that last lot of yellow painteds u got

Haha were they Bird Hogging haha good on you girls you show em. This year i was going to go but had plans so next one I 'll go and have a look.

Hmm have to go to the December one then I'm after Blue Gouldians .... has anybody seen any in recent Auctions or do you think they wouldnt be at any ?

Ruthie, there were a couple of blue pairs in the auction previous to this one or the one before i am sure and they were passed in at around $250-300...
