Mynah traps are excellent, mynah population in Canberra has dropped a hell of a lot - not a very common sight now thanks to them.
is there a mynah action group in your area? mine lent me a trap for free, didn't have to build one.

Sparrows are pests here, I've caught heaps of them but released them, might make a snare rather than a trap, their driving the good old willy wagtails out

I think, as well as moving it around, if you also alternated between the owl and the falcon models, it may help to keep the buggers guessing...

Good looking hawk moving it around, or maybe taking it away for a day or so to mix it up might keep the local bird population on their toes. Hopefully you have greater success than i did with my fake owl....eventually the local dove population tried mating with it....one fake owl now in the recycle bin

Actually i think it is working, I havnt seen the pesky little honey eater birds around, In fact i havnt seen any problem birds.
I havnt seen the cat for a while , Only the local doves hang around. So all is good !!
