While this side of the country is on a dry cycle. Which means too many mice moving in for the food they can't find. :ooh: And the snakes following them to the water source. :petrified:

Don't worry about the snakes Finchbreeder. The cane toad is on it's way. They are now as far as El Questro in the East Kimberley. Travelling up to 3 km a day.
We stayed at Parrys Farm for the Gouldian count and were told the brown snake is gone there. Goana's are 90 percent gone in the NT according to some professor of McQuarry university I met at Mount Bundy.
Watch out for a toad near you soon!

And desertbird, it was quite cold when we moved through your part of the world this year. The wife even broke off a frozen tap in the camper at Alice. Shitponds was good birding but frustrating getting the permit/keys.
