My thoughts exactly! Although selfish thoughts at first I then reasoned that the hen laid the eggs so had that bit more to do with them so needs the rest earlier.
With these last two clutches only having three young each the boys are "bringing up baby" just fine.
When Im sure the young are feeding themselves fully I will be taking all adults out and moving all the male youngsters into the big aviary so that I can see them colour up. The adult males will get added back after they have gone through their moult.
Should make the aviary full of colour.
