As the title suggests, been having a good week with my birds at home (the ones at work are doing well too!).

Had 3 button quails hatch the other day, out of 4 eggs, and all are doing well still, the warmer weather is a good help I think!
This morning I went out to do my usual thing, and spotted my second button quail cock sitting next to some half egg shells! Went and poked him up and all FIVE of his eggs had hatched!! So, he's a bit busy, but all his bubs were still alive this afternoon, so fingers crossed! This cock lost his previous 2 chicks, but I think that was partly my fault as I left the hen within earshot. Fingers crossed this time works out better!

I also had a quick chance to check my major mitchell nest log, 1 chick so far!! Still have 2 good eggs left to hopefully hatch over the next few days! First time breeders, but doing very well so far!

Eggsiting times!! (Oh yes, I went there)

Well done, Spanna.
