My Chooks are pets and treated for Parasites and thought just a spray of bleachy water and dry in Sun would do lol.Very interesting hearing different peoples methods So really when collecting branches and scrub we should disinfect all of these before putting in then ? Oops ive been chopping trees from my garden for years without doing that

Well that's how I do it! An old pair of stockings, fill them up with feathers, in Microwave for a minute or so (must add little bit of water) and that's it! If this is not the proper way of sterilizing those feathers it certainly makes me feel better.

Then mybe you guys should spray your branches coopex before you put them in,OMG what next. Also,why don't you guys go buy a cheap feather pillow with white duck feathers in it,they are sanitised/sterilised and save all the trouble.They are $20 each delivered on Ebay and last for years. Good idea a small bag of feathers would cost more than $10 from a bird-shop, a $20 pillow would contain at least 10 times more.

I believe feathers are best sanitised before exposing your stock to them. Sanitising branches sounds ludicrous. Different microbes and insects inhabit foliage to those that infest the skin and feathers of poultry.
Maybe I missed the joke but sanitising things for the intimate use of your birds - especially products from other birds known for parasites, etc - seems sensible.
Sanitising perches where they wipe their beaks and eyes, are permanent fixtures and are used repeatedly, is also sensible practice.
Changing brush over time serves a similar purpose.
Like Craig, I use feather pillows. There are a lot of coloured feathers in them which are less popular but I take years to go through one.
