have you/could you observe what the wild finches feed on?
particularly the wild crimsons or gouldians if any are about.
i try to provide a natural diet as much as possible (green seeding grasses, insects etc).
have you seen them hawking flying termites or feasting on a particular grass? anything out of the ordinary?

thanks for your welcome. I haven't seen gouldians or crimsons hawking flying termites or anything like that but they do eat a few different seeding grasses,not sure of their names but one looks like a johnson grass.I think the wild gouldian only eats 3 different types of grass one being a sourghun sarjenti . Hope this helps you some.
