If you have not tried corn on the cob give it a go.
I buy it at the supermarket in packs of 4 (not frozen).
I cut 1 into 4 then microwave it on high for 2 mins.
I then spike it onto a nail in the aviaries and by the
next morning it has been picked clean.
I have seen all my finches eat it as well as my Scarlett
Chested Parrots, Canaries,Silvereyes and my Siskins just
love it.

Hi Jack, no need to microwave it, I have been using raw for more than 10 years, that's how they eat it in the wild! All of my finches just love it.

I use the frozen peas and corn straight out of the freezer - each aviary gets a small handful. Diamonds in particular love the corn. They'll take a kernel off to a private spot to eat in peace.

Mine get corn on the cob ..parrots and finches but I don't cook it at all ..yep they love it however it does something funky to calcium levels and too much can be really bad .
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
