Hi All,

Got an update from Wendy Lowe yesterday....they expect to harvest by the end of January. I was hoping for December, but unfortunately the whole process is gouverned by weather conditions.

For me this will mean I will be ordering enough for 13-14 month supply just in case there is a delay in the following seasons harvest.

Sorry for the bad news folks, but there really isn't much we can do about the timing.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,
In that case, can you put me down for 3 eskies instead of 2?

Hi All,

Wendy has just let me know that due to insufficient planting rain the planting has been delayed. They now expect harvesting to take place in late February.

Hi All,

Just got a phone call from Wendy Lowe letting me know they haven't had sufficient planting rain to start. At best we will get our Green Seed mid/late March...so everyone West of Brisbane can you please do your rain dance so Lowood gets their 2 inches of rain in the one hit and our crop will start to grow.

At this stage I will continue to hold everyone's order unless I am told otherwise.

Cheers
Paul

HI Brooksy,

The crop takes 8-10 weeks before being ready for harvest....and they have not planted...so someone in the QFS has their facts wrong. I wish that wasn't the case, and it only reinforces my decision to stock 15 months supply from now on just in case the harvest is more than 12 months after the last. If you look back through this thread we got our last batch in late Feb.

Cheers
Paul

March 2nd to be exact (my birthday), so 2 weeks later is no big deal, gouldians will just have to get more sprouted seed etc till it arrives, thanks again for organising it Paul.
