Hi Guys

I recently purchased some Cydectin and Baycox from the forum (thanks Gomer) and my research thus far indicates a dose rate of 5mls/L of water for the Cydectin and 2mls/L for the Baycox (please feel free to comment if these figures aren't correct). My question/s relate to administration. What period of time should each of these med's be given and how often should the water be changed. I recently wormed some of my birds (the ones I had at the time) with Ivermectin and was instructed by the vet to give for 3 consecutive days, changing the water every 12 hours. I just wondered if there was such specifics for using these med's. I was planning on giving my new purchases a dose of Cydectin in the next week or so. Any advice/assistance appreciated.

Cheers, Dal

Hi Dal,

Moxidectin- 24 hrs
Baycox- 48 hrs

Change the water every 24 hrs.

Taking the water out the night before may improve medication uptake.
