Sorry the only thing I recall vividly from the days - way back when - my Dad had them, is that you should make that decision and PUT THEM ALL IN AT ONCE as they will pick on newcomers.

Gawjus little things to look at but sure can pack a bite. Think the all in at once rule is the only one I can recall also but that doesnt stop the pecking order .

It is true ;) there is not a finch on the plantet you should not consider keeping

Why not go for neophemas . Gawjus little parrots and can be housed with finches ( research first ).
