I was in the same boat... That's why I was kind of in a rush to move them along
I tried to explain why, when I told my wife what I was going to do and I got the thousand questions!!!
I figured it was easier just to make sure they weren't seen here!!!
Just tell her they are a Christmas present of someone

Not the best time to breach the subject of buying birds to my wife when the aviary is still leaning against the fence. The finches atm are hiding at a friends place in his shed, segregated for worming etc. Swap/sold a couple for payment towards welding some aviary panels together.
