Hi everyone,

My male red cheeked cordon continues to breed with my female gouldian finch and a few days ago she laid 4 eggs. I may be wrong, the eggs may be from the male gouldian in the cage but that still does not explain why the cordon keeps breeding with her! Anyone know why this is happening?

I've seen a clutch of Saint Helena x Melba hybrids which looked like male BB Crimsons. Best looking hybrids I've laid eyes on.

Are you sure it wasn't a RC Cordon x Star hybrid? A mate has one and it's the spitting image of a WB Crimson hen.

No I haven't and I was only at his place the other day. I'll try to organise to get one.
