Hi everyone,
My male red cheeked cordon continues to breed with my female gouldian finch and a few days ago she laid 4 eggs. I may be wrong, the eggs may be from the male gouldian in the cage but that still does not explain why the cordon keeps breeding with her! Anyone know why this is happening?

Are you sure it wasn't a RC Cordon x Star hybrid? A mate has one and it's the spitting image of a WB Crimson hen.crocnshas wrote:I doubt if anything will come of it but i have seen a RC cordon x redbrow cross,it was the best looking WB crimson hen i have ever seen and i thought it was until i was told it was a hybrid.
