With the warmer weather in Perth, the crab grass I let grow has produced masses of green seeding heads.
The birds seem to like it, but there is more than they can eat at the moment.
Is it possible to freeze it, and how long can you keep it frozen for? Any suggestions on the easiest way to do this?
Cheers
Brett

I use a 'push reel lawn mower with a grass catcher bag' very effective on collecting Rye grass seeding heads found in my lawn. Once cut I simply put the grass heads in 'Zip lock' bags and throw in the freezer.

Yes, a manual push mower with a tray bag attached. Not worth all the hard work if the lawn is uneven.
