It's been alluded to a few times in the past weeks - but i thought I'd say it anyway....

I'm off to alice springs in the morning!!! :D :D
I'll be doing work experience at the Desert Park, with Desertbirds!!!
It's very exciting - I'll be sure to put up plenty of pictures on my return :whoohoo:

Don't you lot go having a "discussion" on hybrids without me now ;-)

How keen is this lad ? he`s been asking since i joined AFF but he was too young, he flies in tomorrow ,the day of his birthday. He will be living at the park for two weeks as im currently residing there. His front yard is the Desert Park. He`s got 3 days on birds and two days on the free flight show each week. I`ll try and squeeze some pics out of him for the forum next week if we get time. Big day tomorrow , induction and 6.30 am start Monday, might try and fit some some bird watching tomorrow arvo but forecast for 42 .
See if i can find him some Emu Wrens for his birthday :shh:

He thinks its work experience , its actually work ;-) if hes any good we may keep him.
