Hi everyone,
My name is Suzanne and I am from Bathurst in NSW. I have just registered as a member on AFF and I am looking forwarding to chatting with fellow bird lovers. The main reason for registered on this website is because I would like to learn more about finches. I currently do not have any finches, but this is something that I would love to get into once our new aviaries are built.
I am a Zoology student. My future goal is to work with birds, in either avian medicine, rehabilitation or genetics. I am currently on work placement with an Avian Vet. This experience has been really wonderful and extremely rewarding. I am learning so much.
See you all online.
Suzanne

Hi SamDavis,
I believe the answer to your question is 'yes'. The work placement has been very worthwhile, and I am very fortunate to have been given this opportunity.
I haven't seen many finches coming in to the avian vet, but I hope that that is a good thing in that they are not sick and needing treatment.
Regards
Suzanne
