I don't blame you!! They are such characters. I bought a pair of pure white zebs at the Central Coast sales last weekend and they will look so pretty when I get them into the aviary! G
I have 2 pairs of normals and 1 pair of whites. Apparently they are all show quality and they are all big feisty beauties! I prefer normal of any species but couldn't resist the whites and also white breasted gouldians. It's just personal taste I guess. The charcoal zebs are pretty special too. Good luck and I'll be waiting to hear what you get
Also to make a pied charcoal bird, can the male be any of those mutations or do you have to have say: a pied male and a charcoal female? (Hope that makes sense )
(I'm bad with genetics )

Birds I own/have owned: Budgerigars, **Zebra Finches**, **Star Finches**, Canaries, Diamond doves... Rocky the Galah! & Cocky the Sulphur Crested 'too -Mike-
Memory says both are recessive factors, so each parent needs to be pied and black fronted OR pied/split for black fronted OR
blackfronted/split for pied. Sounds like time I put this combination together too.
