Hi all,
I haven't had a chance to get to my finches for a week until this morning. I went to the aviary cleaning and changing seed when I noticed that I had left the lid of the seed hopper open. There was some grass sticking out the top, I looked inside and my painted have built a nest, along with small stones and sticks in the hopper. Luckily they haven't laid any eggs. I can't believe how quick they can be.
