If feeding maggots, how much do you feed per pair? and how often?
Thank you.

A fruit fly culture in the aviary wouldn't hurt either ... I have several for in between feedings of termites and mealies .
Easy to make / maintain and all it requires is a bit of fruit everynow and then .

I'm too lazy to do maggots (yet) but the question isn't how much per pair do you feed as the answer depends according to:
1) Species
2) Time of year and if you intend to breed
3) If the birds have young
4) How old the young are.
Can you give us some more details on what birds you are enquiring about?

Suffolk, I used to run several pairs of CB's. they would barely produce 1-2 young per nest and if they fledged they wold have white wing feathers (bad diet). I started them on maggots and lost the white wings, and clutches went from 12- to 3-4 and no scouring. let you make up your own mind.
Cheers
