I have 2 pairs of Goldians in a mixed collection with OBs, Longtails and Painteds. One pair of Gs has had a nest of 3 and then an infertile nest. Now they are back on 6 eggs however, I think the hen has swapped males. The first lot were with a red head and now it looks like the yellow head male is incubating.

Has anybody seen this before?

I am thinking of selling the Gouldian pair that are not producing and putting a different species in. I think the 2 pairs of Gs are not getting along anyway and I'll get better breeding results by replacing them with a pair of Cordons or Fires.

Any thoughts?
