Hi, I am new to Gouldians having painted's, ruddies, stars and double bar's successfully for a couple of years I couldn't resist. Have a reasonable outside aviary 3 x 3m about 14 birds. I have just brought home a new pair and the male is attacking every other bird that is near him. Only been a few hours, hope it's the new setting and he will calm down but I had this before with a canary and they don't seem to change.

If its all fluff and bother I wouldn't worry about it, (probably stressed) If he is physically doing them harm I would remove him ..

Like I said, only in there for a couple of hours daylight but I'm sure I could see blood on his beak - other birds seemed ok. See how we go tomorrow.
Is that a boerboel? Good dog? I heard some won't leave the house to go for a walk if anyone is left at home!
