Thanks for that. Does anyone know a place in Adelaide that sells mealworms for a good price? I paid $12 for a 100gm tub which I think is a bit rich.

There are a few aquariums places around the Pooraka Markets. Ive got mealworms from one before just cant remember the name of it, it the bigger one and is nearer to the MN Road. At the time I paid $8 for a tub.
Might pay to phone first as sometimes they dont have them in.

I provide my cut throats with white ants, they don't seem to readily take the meal worms for me whereas the parrot finches love the mealies, i have my own meal worm breeding setup, so don't need to purchase them regularly, only every four years or so to make sure there is some genetic variation, otherwise you get a lot of small ones which i find the parrot finches don't tend to take them as much as the big plump worms.
Good luck with the fledgelings.
