I have been researching into purchasing some three or more compartment bowls.I need these to have high sides to stop maggots or mealworm from crawling out.I would most likely put seed in one compartment and the live food in a seperate compartment each or other treats. These would then need to be washed (dishwasher) and replaced with clean ones daily.I would need atleast 60 to 80 of these. So what are other people using for this purpose ? have you got links to suppliers ? How is this system working for you keeping live food in the bowl and replacing daily with a new bowl ?

I have used multiple compartment bowls in the past and they end up being a pain. Birds sit on the edge of one compartment and /'$%$^& into the compartment next to it. They flick food from one to the other and generally make a quick mess of it all. I have found seperate bowls much easier in the long run

Would have to totally agree with Firetails comments. Individual bowls for each different food offering.

Good points I didnt consider thanks. I currently use three different coup cups. The live food can be topped up for weeks without cleaning just tipping out the dead food. But the chitted seed doesn't fair as good especially in warm weather needs clean cups often.

I have tried those divided dishes as well, useless imo, when the birds pooped and it ran down the sides and dried the mealworms and at the time termites used the poop as a ladder to escape.
As far as your sprouted seed,i change that every day with a clean dish as i wouldn't trust what would grow in it,especially if the birds are pooping in it and they will.
If you watch your birds at a water dish/seed dish they sit on the side of the dish have their feed/drink,spin around, have poop and fly away. Craig
