Hi all, any ideas on what I'd get from breeding a heavily pied RFPF hen with a normal cock?

Cheers.

Why pied and not normal splits? Please explain, if you can?

Pied is dominant but you might breed some young with no pied on them, these birds are good to breed back to heavy pieds to get heavy pieds so you could call them splits but the light pieds would be a better choice to breed to heavy pieds. Craig

I had a medium pied hen mate up with a normal cock bird, and they fledged 2 heavily pied and 3 lightly pied chicks. honestly i thought this was a pretty decent outcome considering the male wasn't even split for pied, 5 nestlings is a decent sized clutch too.
Good luck mate, let me know what you get- Brayden
