I've had my young Crimson hen in a holding cage with my Blue Cap male , oblivious to the chance that anything would occur as the hen is paired with her Crimson mate .... but ..... it appears they have taken quite a liking to each other ... what are the chances of that ???
Theres some strange goings on of late in my aviary .... this isn't the first cross species interlude I've encountered ... Recently I had quite a romantically confused Strawberry male who thought a young Blue Cap hen was irresistible , and she reciprocated the affection also .... but as the Romeo and Juliet story goes , I forbid the engagement ( no deaths however )

Im a little bemused to say the least !!
I have never heard of these 2 species pairing before ( crimson and BC ) !
Any guesses at what the offspring of this unlikely coupling would look like ?
I am totally against hybridization but a little part of me is dead interested to see what the result would bring
