Hi Folks,

Singleton sale has been set for Sunday 20 October at the Singleton Civic Centre. 10 am to 2 pm. Benching by 9 am.

Bookings - Birds: Barry Barker email [email protected]
Bookings - Trade and general: Richard Law email [email protected]

Please PM me if you would like a contact phone number.

I would encourage all finchos who are considering selling to book in early. It would be great for the sale to become more non hookbill orientated. Last year was 50% finches. It would be great in 2013 to great it past 60%.

See you all there.

Cheers Ian

I'll be going. Buying not selling.
We should all meet up for lunch - RSL or similar maybe?

Sam, finch buyers are more important than finch sellers

Lunch might be a goer or maybe an aviary visit!

Maybe a bit of both. A few of us last year had dinner the night before.

In my opinion sellers are just as important as buyers, without either a sale will live or die.
It's a shame that some organisers do not think this and often sellers are treated as second class.
Yet those clubs that look after the sellers like Orange and in particular Ballarat will always be highly regarded.
The venue is so important as well. If it is crowded because the venue is too small, poorly laid out or too dark then
selling birds is a nightmare. Morningtons venue is amazing, large walk ways, bright light and so easy to operate at. They are so lucky having such a venue available to them.
