I am wondering if anyone has heard of double bars and plumheads mating. I actually have 2 young and I am sure that is what has happened. The body looks like a plumhead but the head has the shape and I am sure when they colour up the head will be like the double bar. I think the name double plum sounds good.

I havent heard of a double bar cross plum. But i have had a plum cross with a parson.Would be best to seperate the offending pr, or find mates of own type for each other.

These things do happen from time to time.
But obviously now is the time to seperate them and get them mates of their own type.
And ring those young conspicuously so you can't mistake them for anything but what they are.
