Moxidectin
May be only obtainable from a Vet .
Vetafarms Scatt is based on Moxidectin from memory.
They wouldn't sell it to the general public but if you were a member of their Vetafarm club it was then available to buy. I do not know if this club is still going you would need to contact Vetafarm again.
If you are going to Singapore or know someone who is it is available over the counter from some of the better bird/pet dealers.
A squeeze bottle of Scatt lasts along while and in my opinion streets ahead of any other remerdies.
It is well worth trying to locate.

I got my Moxidectin from the local bird shop. Its the one the Aust Pigeon Company sells.
It might be worthwhile ringing a few of your local bird places to see if they stock it.

Great response . . this is what forums like this do best . . And on a related vein: I was told by a vet that many bird wormers become toxic after their use-by date, and can kill . . Since time flies when you are having fun and labels on bottles can become worn and illegible over time, I always mark bottles with the use-by in large numerals in permanent marker pen, so that they can be immediately be seen

To add to arthur's comments re use by dates. Ivermectin is well known for poisoning after its use by date. Storing them in the fridge will keep them a little longer.

I get mine mail order from Australian Wildlife Supplies.

Sorry about that. I'm a member of The Queensland Finch Society and each month they attach a mail order form with their "Finch News" magazine. I just read the order form and it does say members only. I recommend joining as its only $40 a year and Finch News always has some good pieces of info.
