congrats mate,
Big or small have an aviary of any size is better than no aviary at all.
I think its going to look great and that size will meet your needs and I am sure it will keep the minister of finance and punishment happy.

It's been a busy couple of days.
Here are some updated pictures.
I put it up on my own. It's fairly finished now and starting to plan when to bring the Finches over.
A pretty modest beginning but I'm still excited to have my birds back soon
My second pair of hands. All masked off for painting the wire Ahh, that's better. The timber in the back is to hang the cages from. Cheers.

On Saturday migrated all the Finches from their temporary home where they have been accumulating. Re-acquainting myself with in excess of 130 Bengalese in the cages has been mind boggling.
Today after a first round cull I'm ready to evict 50 birds or so which will make things less ridiculous. I'll then be able to further refine things down to my selected breeding pairs for long term.
Its a nice feeling having the aviary all operational
