Last Friday just 15 kms from Orange I demolished my car. My mate and I plus all our bits and pieces plus 3 boxes of birds ended up
at a Motel. Here we were 5 hours from home, no wheels nothing. Enter some Forum members.
Firstly we were driven to the sale so the birds could be benched and settled down. They had also been shook up as well.
Next morning once again driven to the sale. That member being a Sydney resident was quite willing to get us home but then
other Forum members made themselves available. One took some of our boxes home and actually delivered them here on
Monday morning, cost a cup of Coffee. Another Forum member sorted out their vehicle and some how got my mate and I in with
our luggage and boxes of birds. We were dropped right at home. They then had to drive another 90 mins to get home.
It didn't worry them that they had a big detour, all they were concerned about was getting us home.
To all the people who came to our aide, I assure it was most appreciated and a great relief
Thanks to the Forum members

Glad that you are both Ok, sorry about the car and it's great to know that there are still so many good people in this funny old world of ours.
We usually only hear about the bad bits on the news.
Cheers Greg.

Glad you got through it unscathed. There were numerous people throughout the day and evening at Orange who expressed their concern for you. Proves how highly we all think of you
- despite your odd AFF disciplinary comments to keep us in line

Hope you and your mate are ok healthwise after your car accident, usually aches and pains show up a few days after such things.
So glad to hear that you were helped out by AFF members.

We did not collect one scratch or bruise, totally amazing when you look at what is left of a very big car and where we ended up.
I don't know if I should buy a Lotto ticket because I was so lucky or not buy one as I have used up all my luck.

Buy the ticket!
The worst that can happen with a lottery ticket is you don't win. But think about the new aviaries if you do!
