I don't know what is in Silverbeet stalks but my birds love them,
especially the Gouldians.

My Gould's also love them Jack....but only the home grown stuff...won't even look at the shop bought stuff :thumbup:

In the past we have grown the rainbow chard (just silverbeet with colourful stems) and the bird love that too. It did make me wonder if the colour in the stems could/would make the birds plumage brighter.

My mother has always grown Silverbeet and fed the leaves and stalks to her Budgies and finches and parrotts. All take to it with gusto.

I have found that some finches eat it and others won't....
