Hi all ,
Just chasing opinions of fellow AFF members in regards to functionality of this contraption if used in the aviary .
It is called the "catsomat" and is a 7 tray refridgerated auto feeder for wet cat food , does anyone think it would translate well as a live food feeder for finches ?
Let me know what you think .
I have added a link for your convenience .

Only thing that comes to mind is putting the majority of it under some sort of protective to prevent bird poop all over the top while they wait for the next tray to appear.

Hi brad, are you going to be the guinea pig and buy one? I'd like to hear how you get on.

Cheers Ian

Looking at the videos it looks like a great way to cut finches in half when it spins around and changes trays.

 Danny it's not a lawn mower , it moves so slowly and I'm pretty sure the finches would move in time
Moving soon Ian and unfortunately may have to give up the colony :( , if all goes well and I don't have to sell up I'm hoping I might get one for next breeding season ... they're a bit bloody pricey though hey
