Hello, I'm about 2 months from fulfilling a dream of having an avairy. I will be building an outdoor planted avairy approx 4m x 2m x 3m. Looking to have a few species of finches such as gouldians, African fire, orange breasted and red faced with some quail. First I have to build my patio so I can finish the decking and then build the avairy!

Finch fanatics? I think I am just beginning to realise how dedicated finch followers are. I originally only considered Zebras as I had a pair when I was a kid. But when I started researching last month I was surprised at the number of different species. I need a larger/aviaries
I haven't even looked at siskens, every time I read about one there is another...Quail finch! My wife likes the Gouldians and I like the African fire so at least they are compatible.
