i have a baby gouldian finch it is about 1 day old, it was rejected from its nest and will not be taken back how should i care for it?

Hi larjay,a young one at that age usually is excepted back in the nest but only if it has siblings at a similar age.Also Welcome to the Forum. Craig

Its not an easy task, especially with such a young bird. I managed to raise 3 gouldians from when they were about 5 days old. But that has been the only time out of 3 occasions.
Check out some of these pages and hopefully they can help, but brace yourself for a loss. Wishing you luck with it.
