I moved house about 9 or so weeks ago with all the dramas of having to move birds and aviaries.

Since setting them up I have two pairs of gouldians with chicks and the other two pairs on eggs. The stars have just built a nest and the maskeds have built and laid and just started sitting. Only leaves the other pair of maskeds to get their act together.

Fingers crossed I get some young on the perch but at least they are having a go

Cheers Ian

Well done mate!! Hopefully I'll have the same successful start when my birds finally arrive.

Im all in favour for changing things around in an aviary, it stimulates the birds. As keepers, by necessity the birds environment is stagnant, nothing in nature would stay the same so a change in aviary decor every now and again can only benefit the birds.

:D Although moving house and taking the aviaries is a bit much ...
