Sweet... :shh:  Don't get too carried away with yr grand aviary plans. Check out the "ABSCO" aviaries. I started building mine...um 4 months later, i'm still goin. I don't even wanna think of how much i've spent up to now on materials  . I could of had a prefab aviary up and running ages ago :?

Yeah I know, already got the absco plan in mind, I've used them before, this plan involves 2 large ones at the ends of the complex & about 6 of the 1.5 x 900 ones in the middle for smaller breeding flights. The way I use the smaller ones is to make a feeding station trapdoor above the door ( don't have to enter the aviary). The other side I use the alloy box section and joiners from Bunnings to make a suspended front to give birds access to sun & rain, without wetting the floor.
It's basically an idea I got from the ones I have now, they're built from formply with panels cutout for feeding stations, access door & wire, sleepers for a base which is concreted inside to over the level of the sleeper inside the aviary, 600 high sides & suspended front. So far 2 years no vermin, nowhere to climb, it has a smooth finish , no entry points.
That's the plan anyway, here's hoping it all works out....fingers crossed...

Sounds great, using the convenience of ready to go aviaries with a made to measure in the middle. Build pics please! We can, and most likely will offer encouragement and advice.
I would like to commend you for the
