I was just wondering how everyone else presents their feathers to the birds to stop them flying all over the place, or at least reduce it?

Cut a cordial bottle top off.....to fill it then invert it to keep them there...then a small square cut in front side at base, small enough so they can just get their heads in...wire a perch close to opening....

I considered using an onion bag, was worried the finches might get caught in it though. Yeah I just chuck them in at the moment

I agree with Sam with the onion bag but some finches just love pulling them out for fun so now just throw them on the floor add lib.I have noticed when they pick them up from the floor that they shake the hell out of them anyhow to remove mites/dust etc. Craig

Hmmm, might try the onion bag, if that doesn't really work, i'll just keep putting them in a corner or something.

Chicken wire cylinder I use. I was going to use the onion bag way but already had these cylinders in the aviaries. I like the cordial bottle idea for smaller aviaries aswell
