Hi everyone. I know it is necessary in SA to keep any animal purchased on a basic permit for 6 months before being able to sell them.
Does this rule also apply for animals that are bred? Thanks

Mate you are too honest for your own good,if you already have that specie of finch on your books who is going to know whether the new ones or the bred ones have been there for six months or twelve months.Denozo wrote:Hi everyone. If you breed 6 from 2 parents then sell 7, the maths shows that you must have sold at least one adult and at least 5 young birds. So you could theoretically get caught out.
HOWEVER, in Victoria, I do not believe this 6 months rule applies to young bred. Same would surely be in SA from which we got some of our ideas
Only a SA local can tell you true.
