Hi John. You can use Photobucket if you like or any other web-based image hosting site - I use http://www.freeimagehosting.net/. It's not too difficult to choose your desired photo and upload it however there isn't much point uploading a large image that is beyond the average screen so you may have to copy and shrink the image you want in something like Paint or you can let your head go with Photoshop and do some really creative work. Once your hoastinf site has loaded the image you will presented with the webaddress that you can then insert into your AFF post. Cheers
Greg

Hi John
http://photobucket.com/
go to photobucket via this link and create an account, once your account is open you just hit that button "upload images and videos" and then it will go to where your pic is stored on your computer, photobucket then takes over and uploads your pic.
when you want to show us a pic all you need to do is put the cursor over the pic and you should see a drop down box that has
email
direct link
HTML code
IMG code
click on the box next to the IMG code and copy that and paste it into your posting on the site...
If you have any problems, let me know and I will try and help out.
or as Greg said you can use other image hosting sites.

Thanks for info to both of you. I will have a fiddle and see what goes and then will show a couple of pics of my new aviary and a few ideas that may be useful to other beginners and possible more experienced keepers such as youselves.

Diane I have sorted out setting up photobucket and I have actually uploaded some shots but when I go to insert them on a post I get an erroe message telling me I can't exceed 600 in size. How do I resize or overcome?
